This was long overdue in our promise to keep our diet healthy. One night I prepared steamed ripe tomatoes (cut into 4 pieces) and broccoli (which we have brought earlier from our village market).
We steamed it with butter it until ‘al dente’ as the Italians would say with their pasta. Then spread oyster sauce to the veggies before serving it.
My sister-in law can’t keep it to herself that she has to tell my wife how good the dish was.
Our satisfaction as an amateur chef comes from those who get satisfied from the dish we prepared. Alhamdulillah!
